Strauss Soër, the owner of Strauss Soër Investigations (SSI) has a 30 year history in the Police and the profession of investigator.
He was mainly involved in specialised units in the SAPS.
SSI is assisted by a wide range of technical employees and contractors including a former magistrate, a Lie Detection and Truth Verification professional, a variety of former police officers, ex Koevoet trackers and a large and effective network of informants. The company utilises modern computer technology, systems and networks.

SSI provides a unique service to victims of crime or emergencies.
How we help:
Your family may be the victims of a robbery. You call SSI.
Strauss or one of our network of specialists visits the scene, ensures that the crime scene is safeguarded and that potential evidence is not contaminated.
We will ask you to grant us a power of attorney to act on your behalf and lay charges on your behalf and we will act as liaison between you and the police.
SSI will asssess the situation and, in consultation with you, arrange for specialist support, medical assistance, a doctor to examine victims where medical evidence may be needed in later court action, and in general, do everything needed to ensure that future legal proceedings do not fail because of inadequate investigation or counterproductive actions on the crime scene.
We charge an initial non-refundable deposit to ensure that our basic expenses are covered and then work at a rate of R350 per hour which we will discuss with you before we start.
